THE “PROGRES” ASSOCIATION

The “Progres” association for the promotion and conservation of tradition, culture and arts engages in cultural and socially beneficial activities. It also involved in the promotion of tradition, history, the arts and culture. The association’s work involves planning and improving cultural and socially beneficial activities in the area of Karlovac County, with an emphasis on the town of Karlovac.
Aims:
•    to improve cultural, socially beneficial, traditional, historical and artistic activities in the town of Karlovac and Karlovac County;
•    to promote work with young people in the area of culture;
•    to co-operate with associations with similar aims in Croatia and abroad.
Activities:
•    work through its sections in the fields of culture, tradition, history and the arts, and organising events aimed at revitalising society;
•    organising various events in the town, and also environmental activities in co-operation with institutions, other associations and civic groups;
•    public performances and events;
•    publishing bulletins.
